Hello Hanna -- I realize you have had some difficult stuff to deal with and I hope things are sorted out; you DID say the swap was on its way but it is the 18th of April and no sign of the swap you said you posted on April 1st. I will for sure change the rating when it arrives.
Response: I did have some items returned to me. My neighbor has been handling all my mail. The ones that just needed more postage she resent this week. Some I apparently addressed wrong. It was all done in a hurry. But I will make sure it gets to you. I am so sorry for the wait.

I am happy to re-rate once this has been received. It would be nice to get some yresponse, either to the rating, or to my message.UPDATE; I originally rated this on 18th April and it was shortly after that when the response was left to say it was being resent. It is now 2nd May and I still have not received anything, nor have I had any direct contact from you. Very disappointing.

Yes I know about the Military. I had 3 sons in the Military. One actually stationed at Camp Lejuene. I have 2 Marines and one Air Force. Once a Marine always a Marine. LOL My oldest retired from the Air Force after many years overseas. My daughter's family goes to your area every year for a weeks vacation. Glad to have such a cheery card from you. Very cold here right now, it was -9 degrees this morning, so I am not going outside anymore than I have to. ha ha

Comment: I'm sorry to give you a 3 for this, but there were a lot of issues with this swap for me. I didn't get the swap you said you originally sent for this, and when I contacted you about it you said you would resend - and then I had to contact you again weeks later to remind you. What's more is that, while I appreciate you sending a bunch of stuff, this was a mail art swap - and your envie had absolutely no decorations; the "hand-made" cards you included are really just decorated paper that don't qualify as hand-made postcards, and you sent me back three items I've sent you in previous swaps. I think it might be a good idea for you to figure out which groups and swaps you're really interested in so that you have enough time and attention to devote to the swaps you sign up for.
Response: Wow. I am saddened by your rating. Mail gets lost. I did re-send and thought I had put together something great for you. I am sorry that the postcards are not good enough for you but believe it or not, I worked very hard on those. I apologize that you were not satisfied but I feel that the care package I put together was more than worthy of a 5. We have been partnered up for 3 or 4 swaps before. I always love having you for a partner. So I picked out things I thought you would like. I apologize for sending you things back. I see that you are off of Swap-Bot for an undetermined amount of time now. Hopefully you will be back so we can resolve this.

I forgot to mention the notecard with the lobster on it made my mouth water. I used to go to Maine to the lobster pounds and pick out my own big lobster and they would cook it right there for you. You sat in an enclosed porch with picnic tables laid with newspaper. You were serve a container of melted butter with it. also got steamers(clams). You bought these by the bucket full and they would cook them, give you a cup of broth to clean the sand away and melted butter.
This is like eating and no one else has. I definitely going to have to go back this spring for it.

First, you sent me 13 CARDS!!! haha , . . what fun! And that vintage card--the pristine condition--that's my absolute FAVORITE type of vintage card. The biggest hoot was the "one line" cat! Response: For some reason, I can't do needle crafts in the summer. So I have a sweater that is my "Eight year sweater". This winter will be my eighth winter working on it!! Maybe I will ACTUALLY finish it this winter. I love to knit and quilt, but I always start other projects because I will get bored with the ones that take forever. ADD much? Haha. Response: I found that at my FAVORITE local thrift shop. If you are ever in Jacksonville, go to the Infant of Prague Thrift Store. They have TONS of cards. I can sometimes find postcards in there as well. Though if you go buy all my postcards, I'm not sure if we can be friends anymore. Haha. KIDDING!! But it really is a fabulous little shop. They had those cards in little ziploc baggies. It is 12 random Christmas cards for $.15. Can't beat that!!

Comment: You're getting this 3 because you clicked "sent" on 10/22/13, but the metered postage and the cancellation both say 10/28/13. That's 6 days beyond the supposed sent date, and 3 days beyond the swap's "send by" date. I had no communication from you!
I also want to mention that while the "postcard" you sent is really cute, and you wrote a nice message, I don't consider cutting out the front of a greeting card, and sending it "as is" without a backing to be a "very nicely hand-made", as instructed in the swap description. What you sent is bare minimum. But the 3 is strictly for the
sending late without communication.
I strongly suggest that you slow down a bit, and spend some time learning about swapping on the site. In my opinion, the "Newbie Helpers" and the Public Forum are excellent places to learn. For your own good, take some time to set up a good organized system for tracking your swaps - it's your responsibility to stay on top of them!
Response: I live on a military installation and that typically adds a day or two. I have never seen it add 6 so I'm not sure why it would say that. I keep track of my swaps on a notebook and I write when it is sent and I have down that I put it in the mail 10/22. Obviously, if I had known that it wasn't going to go anywhere, I would have let you know straightaway. Unfortunately, I had no way of knowing that. I am a detail-oriented person and stay on top of things very well. I run my own business, which requires exceptional attention to detail. When I send/receive swaps, I use that same, strict routine. As far as it being "bare minimum", my postcard fits within the description. I apologize that it was not up to your standards but in no way did I not follow directions. It says, "These PCs can be store bought, self-printed, or very nicely handmade and should be sent stamped and written on (naked). Please send only those postcards you'd want to receive yourself." Mine was store-bought and like you said, I did take the time to choose one I thought you would like and write a personal message for you. I would be happy to make a postcard for you to make up for your unhappiness with the store bought one I sent. As this is my first and only 3, I would very much like to resolve this.

Comment: I like the card! It can be hard to find non-touristy. Some spots I have found are museum and sometimes quirky card stores but I also ordered a random set from pomegranate which had an amazon selection of art, architecture, historical and plain odd but neat cards. Not too pricy either.
