Oddly enough the sorting machine left a mark of the front that looks like a trail from a spaceship going into hyperdrive and it looks very cool on the galaxy photograph! Response: Thank you for rating and I understand the lower rating. I did, however, send when I said I would. The mail has been wild. In July I received a postcard from within the US that was sent in May. I don't think there is a postmark on this one since I packaged it in plastic. Anyway, take care!

Comment: I appreciate your card. I did foster care for many years we would at times have 8 kids and we would get those questions and looks. We have 5 of our own thank goodness they are spread out. I think its wonderful to have those kids and yes there will be times you'll miss it but also times you'll be glad.

Comment: Salem is beautiful but yes, it has become very commercialised and kitchy -- I wish they would have left it as an historical place and respected thtat but sadly, it has become a tourist attraction ad continues to get worse every year.
Thank you for the lovely pc of the house of 7 gables, it was a treasure to walk through there when we did it a few years back! I love visiting the graveyards in that area as well! SO MANY unique stones!!! x Gabi

Comment: Thank you! The black envelope is really high quality, too. I'll probably be able to use it again. One of the stickers looks like a Pergamo Paper Goods item! Look them up sometimes, although they usually have gators, flamingos, cats, etc. in the 'vintage' collage style.

We have a little city park with a little zoo locally. They used to have black bear cubs there. I think I liked the bears the best, though the armadillo was cute too. I'm pretty sure that's how I'm dying, by trying to befriend a giant grizzly or something similar. 😕🐻

There are some historical references related to the religious afterlife beliefs of Hattian slaves indicating a belief in zombie-like eternal servitude. If I recall from a monster film class I took in college, the 'first' zombie movie was White Zombie 1932 which discusses these thoughts (most people consider the first zombie move Romero's 1968 Night of the Living Dead).
