Response: My snowflakes were crocheted with size 20 thread and a size 11 metal hook. Glad you liked them!
Response: The trees were actually made by picking up the paint with a paper towel... very narrowly folded, of course!
Response: Thanks for letting me know about the glue --- I'll look for a better one.
Response: Thank you, I'm pleased that you liked it!
My husband's family all came to the US from Ireland about 1860 or so. My father, on the other hand, came to the US in 1911 (as a child) from Largs, Ayrshire...
Response: Thank you for the rating and your kind words! I enjoyed doing these, and have learned as I went along... I think the topic is great...
Response: The background was one I had received in a swap, so I can't be positive, but it looks like it was done with alcohol inks. That's a technique I'm still learning...

Response: I'm glad you liked it! Around the edges of the cat is just a piece of gold paper I glued the cutout on. Thought it would make it stand out from the background better.
Response: I'm so pleased you like it! Thanks for the kind words.

Response: I cut my own stock from Bristol, then round the corners with a corner punch. Lots less expensive than buying them!
Response: Sorry - I obviously misread the rules!
Response: Glad you liked it! I used 3-D ink pens "Glaze" -- they have the effect of embossing, very easy to use...Anne
Response: Just curious --- why couldn't you give a heart? Seemed like a strange comment to make, so I figured there must be some reason...
