Comment: What a pity, your postcard came folded and torn in my mailbox. Things like that can always happen. It had to travel a long way. Maybe one good advice to you is to use a more sturdy background for making postcards. But thanks anyway for the effort. Hugs Update 11/28 : Received your second (really big) postcard in good condition this time. So kind of you to make it up to me. One question, what kind of language is it on top of the card?
Response: I am SO very sorry to hear THAT YOU DID NOT RECEIVE A POSTCARD IN GOOD CONDITION. I OFTEN USE sturdy cardstock but did use a lighter background this time. I am off to a trip for 5 days starting tomorrow but will resend hopefully before the month is out. So glad you said something. Lynn

You did good, I was trying to explain swap bot to someone and used this swap as an example, we too thought d was a "d"ifficult letter we only came up with dog, donut and dolls! The dollies are great - love using them in my journals, and you also came up with the dog idea, but never thought of the doors and I love them! Comment: I love the giant postcard place mat I received! It will be perfect on the coffee/tea counter I'm creating as I declutter my kitchen... I've also sent some unique items through the mail: a giant toy spider, (which the mail carrier took to the recipients door in a box because she didn't want to touch it), a high-heeled shoe, (just on3, not a pair), a rocket made from a carpet roll tube (for a Fourth of July celebration)... I love these kind of swaps and I hope more are offered in the future. Maybe we'll get to swap again! Thanks for providing such great fun!!!

Response: Good Morning, Roselyn: Here's hoping this will be the beginning of a happy, long distance friendship. I am writing from SW Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. My city is Bridgeville. We are just beginning to come out of our winter and are anticipating the beautiful colors of Spring. There is a little pile of snow in the corner of the yard and I hope to soon see little specks of green emerging from the ground. We need some color here the mid-Atlantic portion of the USA. I will begin this message by telling you I have a birthday coming up in 9 days that I share with a twin sister. We are both married, are as different as night and day and get along so well. She is a mom and I am a good aunt. I think of her kids as my part-time kids even though they are grown. Aunts always have a dollar to spend and an hour to share.
