Response: I’ve had the sign post stamp for more than ten years. I think it’s from Leavenworth Jackson. I’m no even sure they still make stamps anymore. My sisters and I had a contest to pick out places for the signs. They all voted down Akron, OH, but it was the first place that came to mind! I loved making all the envelopes and glad you liked it.
Response: I'm happy you liked your package. I'll add your authors and books to my search list! It's fun to look for things others want. Yesterday I found a Jaymar children's piano and a vintage roadmaster tricycle for a total of $6!!!!

Response: Years ago when I turned 30 my brother, an artist, comic, and photographer did a slide show of my life. One was a picture of me with my feet at an odd angle and he measured it and added the info to the slide. Thirty five years later it has become a fond memory and inspiration!

Response: I'm so glad this swap finally came together!!! Where I volunteer we get in playing cards all the time and we have to open the boxes and mix the cards into a big bin of cards. It's supposed to encourage people to "make" things instead of playing cards. One day I took some time and really poured through the bin to find some mates. I joined the swap to send a whole unusual deck too!!! Thanks for the heart too!

Response: The St. Louis Zoo has made many strides over the years. When I was a child, Phil the Gorilla was just in a cage with big bars in the Ape House. As the years progressed there were windows between the animals and the public, but the windows always made the animals seemed more like they were in cages than when they were just behind bars. Glad you liked the things I sent.
Response: Glad you liked the braille. I love using it in my collages. A few years ago some friends from our church were in a tight spot. A team of people from our church sent them out for a weekend with all expenses paid and others took care of their children. The rest of us did a huge home make-over including painting the house, landscaping and updating their furniture and decor. I was assigned cleaning up the basement and that's where I found all the boxes of braille. The mom said braille is now taught on machines about the size of a tablet and they were happy to get rid of years and years worth of school lessons. It turned out to be a win/win for me. I was happy to help and rewarded with paper I've been sharing for about 4 years now!!
