Response: glad you like it! I had four stamps, the house, two clouds, and then the red/blue mail stripes.. and then I made postcards too! I used speedy cut which was pretty easy to use. I was happy it came out so nice!

Response: I'm not sure laser etching officially exists yet! i was taking a laser cutting class at the tech shop (http://www.techshop.ws) and it seemed like fun to try. I haven't heard of anyone else trying it. I saw that you loved feathers. Believe it or not, I got those at the friends of the library sale! I'm guessing someone must have a parrot.

Response: It's a Kingsley Hot Foil Stamp Machine. It's the way they do old school embossing and monograms. Basically you have metal letters, like letterpress, which you put in the machine and it heats them up and you pull a lever to stamp the letters onto a piece of foil with your item underneath. I'm totally addicted to it now!

Response: for the background I used golden acrylic paint. The white is just a white ink pen. I like the inkssentials one best so far.
