Response: Sorry you didn't like the pantone card. It is not an actual chip, it is one of a 100 postcard box set. I can not afford an actual pantone pack, and the art geek in me thought they were cool. As for postage, same problem here. Talked to our postmaster, turns out the district sends all the leftover 'old' stamps to our PO to finish out before we get new ones; He told me which neighboring POs get the stamps first. Now I know why I see our clerks often putting stamps on packages instead of just printing a sticker.
Response: Glad you liked it! And yes I sold a few paperbacks, I've learned to just take in 4-5 at a time, because if I take more I seem to get the same offer for a small stack or a large stack of the popular titles. I made enough to pick up a couple of Pomegranate postcard books they had on remainder.
Response: The portrait party was great fun. Regardless of how well you sketch you should go to one. We had a blast!
Response: I'm glad you noticed and appreciated it. I saved up about 40 postcards to mail that day and went to the local air mail center at the MSP airport PO to get them hand canceled. As it was a US Holiday it was the only PO in the region open.
Response: So glad it arrived! The PO sure takes it's time getting to you. Cheers
Response: Yea! So glad it turned up. Thank the postal gods. Cheers
Response: I am so glad you like. Nice office site too. Jealous here as I look down at a freeway at 2:24am. Cheers
Response: It's breakfast, lunch, and dinner 24/7. A little bit of everything. Standard American fare. Great pancakes.
Response: Yes it was from that book, a great find! The x stitch was a large group of flowers a ou 8x10 inches, lots of backstitching. I did about half and put it away yrs ago. I resurfaced and a backstitched for days to finish it off, looks pretty good. Now I'm working on an ornament kit I should finish by Xmas. Cheers
Response: Wow, I would love to do that Amtrak trip. I love to take the train to Chicago for long weekends. I can catch the train after work in the morning and sleep on the train. I keep thinking I should take the St Paul - Seattle - LA - Chicago - St Paul trip. Sounds like great fun! And, our trip was great fun! Cheers
Response: Yes! This is the first news of the game I have. I had to leave for work at the end of the second period. Nice to know a proper hockey town will win the cup. I'm torn though, I have Wild season tix and like the idea of a team from the western conference winning, but seriously the knuckleheads. not a fan of the east, but it is a USA team. So I want a seven game series to enjoy. Cheers
Response: I'm very happy they both arrived! Were they the same card? I could Not remember which one I sent. I have two versions. Hopefully they will come out with something new soon. I already have an OR map card, but would love any other scenic, city view, or tourist card from you area. Cheers!
Response: I am delighted it brought joy to your home. And, thanks for keeping an eye out for a CA card for me. Cheers
Response: Yes, I used to park a few houses down from the tennis courts. It is a neat neighborhood. And bless your spouse, I made it through advanced calc way back when. Best prof ever ... he was a professor emeritus by then and taught at Leeds in the UK when he wasn't at the U. Sadly I don't use the engineering skills much anymore as I switched careers and became an RN. I'm glad you enjoyed the card. Cheers!!
Response: It sounds like my card. Must have had a space-cadet moment and forgot to write the swap name up top. Thanks for taking the effort to rate. Cheers
Response: Thanks for the heart. I haven't tried Connelly yet, but like the others. Will have to try him out. Vince went to college with my old boss and is a really nice guy. Very nice to see him doing so well. Cheers!
Response: I am delighted you love Sue as much as I do. I always sketch Sue when I go to Chicago. I go down there on 'sketch-out' vacations. The Field is my favorite spot. Cheers and thanks for the heart.
Response: Hello. I'm glad you like it. I mailed it from near Minneapolis. I have three drop boxes I regularly use, so it could be Minneapolis, Hopkins or Minnetonka, MN. I don't think Homer ever came to Minnesota, but the northern part of the state looks a lot like Maine and is part of the reason I like Homer myself. Cheers
Response: I tried Angry birds, but I stink At it. But I am enjoying writing responses via the phone in the middle of the night. Cheers.
Response: Thank you. I'm excited to make some book boxes and see how they turn out, seems a great way to organize my PC collection, we'll see how it turns out.
Cheers!
