Comment: What an incredible package - thank you many times over Amy! It was like opening up Matryoshka dolls - each pocket had more goodies inside it, which had more goodies inside it.... Everything you included is so crinkly and papery - so much fun. Also, a good reminder to me to not forget about my sewing machine for paper crafts - I tend to just use it for fabric things and I am now inspired to sew into my paper stash. Thank you so much :)

I really enjoyed going through it and opening up each little parcel you put together within the bigger parcel. Your presentation is wonderful! And it is clear that you love to play with paint as do I, so you sent me the types of papers I will have such fun with! By the way, I did accept your group invitation (thanks for the invitation) and maybe we can partner up sometime for a one on one trade. And, although the color limitations of this swap seems to have scared off some would be participants, I really enjoyed culling through my papers to find pieces that would fit. I went on a color based scavenger hunt within my incredibly large (gasp!) paper collection and it was fun. I guess it helps to have a major paper fetish for these types of swaps. So, if you do more of these swaps in the future with other color schemes, I will try to join in if I can. Thanks for hosting such a fun swap and for delivering such a delightful package! I was having a crummy day caused by a 3 month battle with an autoimmune flare and was starting a bad cold. Your package took me totally away from all that and filled my mind with creative ideas of all kinds of things to make. My art is VERY much my "therapy" for coping with chronic pain autoimmune conditions. ART and grandchildren keep me sane when I just want to give up to the pain. For the background: I created a collage using scraps, then painted over it with a thick mixture if purple acrylic paint and irridescent medium. Then I doodled designs in the paint layer using a plastic stick (any tool will work). Then I cut the background down to ATC size.

Response: Yeah! Glad you liked them. Here's my technique: I layered images of vintage food items over vintage book pages (with shorthand text), then covered them with clear crackle medium. Once that dried, I gave them a layer of walnut distress ink.

Response: Thanks Vicki. It's a mini envelope (that has been die cut). Sorry- I thought I included a note about it inside. It's just a little extra something. You will need to fold it on the pre-scored lines to create the envelope. Glad you liked the ATC. I used several different techniques to make it including image transfer. Take care!!!
