Comment: I should not have joined this swap. I've emailled the post-er an explained that I stupidly did not read it carefully. Anyway, thank you for the stuff -- I am going to put some of it in the mail back to you because I think there's a couple of things that are supposed to keep going around and I really don't know what I should be doing and haven't signed up for the next such swap. If something needs to be forward, would you please do it. I am totally ashambed that I just didn't read and understand what I needed to do. so keep an eye on the mail this coming week and please send on anything that should be (I'll keep some of the neat stuff you send.
And I wish I could give you extra starts for dealing with my stupid mistake.

Especially your letter because you echo my soapbox rants about the rotten service we're getting from USPS as they raise their rates higher & higher. They are going to drive me out of swapping yet, which is a real bummer because mail art has been part of my life since the 1960s and used to bring me joy. Now sending a piece of mail is like playing a rigged carnival game. You pays your money and you takes your chances. OK end of rant! Thanks again and enjoy the upcoming solstice.
Response: I have had so much trouble with them. I honestly feel your pain. I would still like to swap, but yes, the cost just keeps on going up and up and up. I was able to say goodbye to two of my daughter's furchildren when I was visiting in Atlanta in January as she had them put to sleep the following month, but she still has 4 dogs, 5 cats and uncountable lizards, spiders, snakes, bearded dragons, fish tanks (and 2 kids & a hubby). Comment: We have similar hobby ups and downs! I am terrible at crochet as well! I have bound books as well and did you know you can use floss? You can use regular teeth floss and embroidery floss to get the colors you prefer for your journal! For something fun you might want to try tea/coffee staining copy paper to put in your homemade books. I also prefer plastic eggs over decorating real eggs. Seems just like a waste of a yummy egg! Where as plastic, well I can fill that with chocolate. Mmm
Response: I think chocolate tastes better than egg anyway. Probably better than plastic too. I have used dental floss for ornaments before. I would have used embroidery floss, but I bought a kit and wanted to use what came with the binding kit. Next time I will know better.

Response: That job was wild. There were so many kids fired for odd things. I have seen Crazy Bit*h by Buckcherry at a wedding. That's where I would draw the line.

Response: IKR! Some leggings do have pockets, but they are hard to find. I buy everything online! If it can be purchased online, that's how I'm buying it most of the time. I don't like fighting with the other people in Walmart. The last thing I bought was tinted lip balm from TreatBeauty.com.

But I do love anything with Pumpkin and so I will try it once I get my S,S.D. money next month. I wrote out my grocery list already too.😁 I can't wait it give it a try! Thanks again.
Response: I found the pumpkin a bit odd too, but then squash really has no flavor. I think it's to help with the creamy texture. At least that's what I'm going with. Let me know what you think of it. Thank you for the rating and heart.

I think it's just that we have several creameries in the state that offer banana splits. We definitely didn't invent beer either, but there are a handful of breweries around. I still have not seen a blue ice cream cone in this state. I think the only place I have seen blue ice cream is probably commercially packaged or at Baskin Robbins years ago.
