Comment: I did not realize Illinois is the 6th most populous state - does Chicago and the surrounding area have most of it? Thanks for the fun postcard, I hadn't seen any in this series. Happy Halloween!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome items. The postcards are cute. I used to like spam and haven't eaten it in years. I just bought some yesterday! Perfect timing on that postcard
Comment: Thanks for the items you sent. So much inside of the envelope that is fell apart. It arrived in a USPS plastic mailer. But there were so many useful items inside. I was happy to get all of the postcards. Using some for swaps today. Have a lovely day. Happy swapping.
Comment: Love the metal postcard, so cute! My first two guesses for your state were Kentucky or Oklahoma but my husband said he thought Illinois was the "Prairie State" so I Googled it and found the answer. You live in Illinois!
Comment: Thanks Matt for the happy mail. The postcards are great. And I actually need the little football stickers for my planner and calendar. And the Chicago postcard filled with stamps is interesting. Fun swap.

Dear Matt319,
I wanted to thank you for the charming Halloween postcard. As my first Swap-Bot experience, I really enjoyed it.
The illustrated ghosts on the postcard were delightful. Wishing you a "ghostly" and Happy Halloween!
Warm regards,

Comment: Thanks for the postcard of Vermont. It makes me remember fondly our family trip in 2021 to Boston, and all up through Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Thanks so much.
Comment: I used to go to Chicago a lot when I lived in Ohio. My ex husband was in boot camp and corps school up there and I would go up and visit a lot. Dim sum in Chinatown can't be beat!
Comment: Thank you so much for all the goodies you sent me. I was in need of more post cards. I like that some of them had used postage stamps on them. Take care and be safe!
Comment: OMG this package was so big! The lined post-it notes are ALWAYS in demand here. Even though I have an agenda app (that works quite well) on my phone, it helps me focus on priorities to physically write things. I'll have to start joining more postcard-oriented swaps now. Thank you!
Comment: You were very generous with this "stuffing!" Love the post cards with the stamps on them-I haven't seen something like that before and I collect stamps-what a joy to discover something new! Thanks for sharing that and the other goodies-Take care!
Comment: I smile whenever I get a postcard from you because I know I will always learn an interesting tidbit about the postcard I'm getting! Thank you for the awesome Chicago PC! I love the little factoid about the ferris wheel- so cool!
Comment: Matt~ OMG you put so much in the envelope. I like getting lined note paper, the ones you sent are so cute. You had a creative idea when you sent the postcards that had stamps ib the back, thank ou so so much.

Comment: Thank You for the unique post card. I have actually been to the Science and Industry Museum. A long, long time ago. As a class trip in elementary school. Only got to see a little of it though because had to spend the rest of our time searching for a classmate that had wandered off on his own. Chicago isn't that far away --- should see now as an adult. Maybe when it warms up. Thanks again.
Comment: I don't even know what to say....your "stuffed" envelope was amazing! It was truly stuffed and I so enjoyed uncovering the next goodie that you sent. I know I now need to step up my game (so thanks for the inspiration!). Thank you for your thoughtful swap, truly!

Comment: Thanks so much for the PCs. And I love the card you included with the photo of the county sign on the front. What a really neat idea. I will be scraplifting that for my own junk journal lol.
Comment: Thanks for the PC! Interesting facts about Illinois. Utah is the 11th largest State, but we have a LOT of area in wilderness and desert where people can't live...No water in the desert, and high altitude mtns... Enjoy your State! My g-grandparents lived there for awhile.
Comment: So many cool goodies! Thanks so much! Especially love the vintage-style travel postcards! (Just a heads-up for your future swaps: I had to pick the envelope up at the post office because of insufficient postage.)
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful postcards, Matt! I'd love to visit Illinois, but I've only lived on and traveled along the West coast.
Hope you had a great spring break trip!
☆Raynor
Comment: Thank you so much for the teas and postcards. I love the Dilbert cartoon. Will use that for a future collage. I always need post its for work! Thank you so much.
Comment: Thank you so, so much for everything you sent! I LOVED the postcards and the banana notecard is low key the best one I've ever gotten! Warm wishes from the southern parts of Illinois!
Comment: Thanks for the items you put together for me! I must say, that the tea will be composted though, because they are old & all but one, is not sealed by the manufacturer! I can tell they're old, by smell & resonance feel. However, I do appreciate the thought. Now, the postcards, stamps, colored paper squares & doilie are definitely something I can use! The timing is wonderful for the pc's & stamps! I love the San Fran. & Nat. Parks pc's! Was running low on postcards! So these are a nice addition! The stamps will be used for some binder covers to keep my Happy Mail! Thanks. ~ Z

Comment: Hi thank you for the disney villans postcard! I had the evil queen, now i have the queen of hearts! I might start trying to collect the rest. Thank you :)
Comment: Hello Matt - thank you for the postcard and letter. I am glad that you are able to continue school and work remotely during this time. I am lucky too and have been working at home as a Head Start teacher. My summer break starts May 24th though and I am really hoping to get to spend some time outside (fingers crossed) In my state it is not required to wear masks yet, but there is whispers that it will be that was soon, Stay safe and enjoy the little things....Justme72 (Martha) and thanks again for the smile mail
Comment: Thank you for the card! I hope you're staying in as much as possible too - my dog makes it impossible not to go out, he's so sad no one pets him anymore!

Comment: Hi Matt! Thanks for your card ands the quote, very thoughtful! Heres a related quote for you:
“I never had a dream in my life because a dream is what you want to do but still haven’t pursued. I knew what I wanted and did it til it was done, so I’ve lived the dream that I wanted so since day one!”
—-“Lucy” by Aesop Rock

Comment: Oh my goshhhhhh!! I love French and plants🖤 I have a corkboard I put all my postcards on, this one is definitely going to be one of my favorites 😍😍 thank you very much!
Comment: Thank you for the great card of Commander David Scott on the moon. I loved everything about the space program especially after I met Dr Von Braun when we lived in Huntsville, AL when I was 14 in 1961. He came to my school and told us all about the rocket he was developing for the moon launch.
Comment: Thanks for the great PC and the quote.
The Turboliners never, as far as I know, operated on the Northeast Corridor so I never rode one. It wasn't until after 2000 that I travelled by rail in the midwest and they were all gone by then.
Comment: Great PC, Thanks.
Whenever I'm asked to "rate the pain on a scale of one to ten." I always tell them that I have never broken a bone or given birth to a child. That usually evokes a chuckle or a strange look as I am a male.
Comment: .Sorry for the delay in rating but my Mom was just given mail from the PO going back to April and your swap was in there.
Thanks for the postcard
Comment: Thanks Matt for the PC and for hosting! I never thought I would enjoy postcards so much...now it has become a nightly thing decorating and such.
Comment: That is too funny! We've gotten a little cooler here but only into the 50's. It usually stays fairly warm until November around here! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you matt for the PC and Shakespeare quote. I like Shakespeare plays. "we know what we are, but know not what we may be" Ophelia from Hamlet
Comment: Love the PC, beautiful! I am a firm believer in giving. We just finished with a North Texas Giving Day that raises tons of money for local charities. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the Chicago skyline postcard featuring (what I'd still call) the Sears Tower. Maybe buildings, like sports stadiums and arenas can have naming rights purchased these days? lol take care!

Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful Chicago PC! We really enjoyed our visit there. I even left part of myself there. I tripped on the uneven sidewalk stones around John Hancock tower and left some of my arm and shoulder there. So graceful. LOL!
Hugs,
Diane
Comment: Thank you for your Chicago-postcard and beautiful stamps! I hope it's more like spring already there where you live, at least here in Finland it's spring time finally!

Comment: i left in in the pile of received cards but didnt go rate it as i put it to the wrong pile, so sorry about the late rating. thank you for this beautiul swap :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the Chicago PC. We were there about 4 years ago and we really enjoyed our visit. My biggest surprise was the number of people who walk there. Southerners are lazy. You might have one or two people waiting to cross at the corner here, not fifty plus like we saw there. While we were there I fell on the sidewalk outside the Hancock Tower so rather than my heart, I left some of my hide in Chicago. LOL!
Hugs,
Diane
Comment: Thanks! I find it very cool that you used a Rhode Island postage stamp on this card. I'm in Rhode Island and I've NEVER seen that stamp. I will definetly have to ask the post office for that one. Thanks again and keep studying hard!
Comment: Thank you, thank you for the wonderful Episode VII card and Lucille Ball postage (I recently started watching I Love Lucy re-runs and remembered why this was my first "adult"/non-kids' show as a child :), Matt! Comment: What a cool oversized b&w! My mom and I went to Providence, then Newport, a few years ago. I loved the marker or memorial on a pillar in the Biltmore showing how high floor waters once got. Kind of scary! Cool old hotel with lots of their own memorabilia. Loved their menus with prices in the hallway.
Comment: Matt, thank you for the postcard from Rhode Island. What a lovely place to have a wedding then one of the mansions in Newport. Do you remember which mansion it was? I am curious. Shirley
Comment: Belated thank you for the whimsical Jelly Belly card, Matt! I remember as a kid just loving reading the flavor names and descriptions and marveling at the colors. (My apologies for a late rating; I am still getting caught up after being given a stack of mail that had arrived in late May/early June while I was out of town but had been withheld by a family member.) Happy Wednesday!
Comment: Thank you for the Count Dooku (may Christopher Lee rest in peace) card, Matt! I think one of the most shocking scenes (still) in all of Star Wars filmdom was the beginning of Episode III in which the Count was totally incredulous that Sidious would so casually command Anakin to kill him. Hope you are having a good week!

Comment: Thanks for the dog postcard! I love dogs so much! My dog, Gulliver, is a ten year old border collie mix who loves treats and barking at thunder!! Maltipoos are so cute! I'm sure he's a good pal!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge PC Matt! I have been to San Francisco but never visited Alcatraz, I would like to do that, I bet it was very interesting!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great Luke speeder bike card and World Stamp Show postage, Matt! Return of the Jedi is up there with A New Hope as my favorite of the Star Wars film; I also dislike Episode II :) I am eager to see how Episodes VIII and IX are... as well as the stand-alone young Han Solo film with Alden Ehrenreich. Hope your week is off to a good start!
Comment: Thanks for the great card of the Chicago "L"! I love trains and, in fact, have had the opportunity to ride the "L" a few times when I have been in Chicago. It is one of my favorite cities to visit.

Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard of my favorite Baseball team. I've been a cubbie fan for many, many years and collected baseball cards. My favorite is Ryne Sandburg. I have over 500 of his cards and have made a scrapbook of the cubs. So glad they are doing so good right now. Just hope they can keep there momentum going.
Comment: Hey! Thanks for this PC! It has a really interesting look, something I don't come across often! Good luck teaching!! You're going to be busy. ;)
