Response: I had read somewhere that they were pondering a TV movie like they used to do in the 90s. I love it so much. It is in my frequent rotation for rewatches. I'd love a reboot.
Response: You should definitely read World War Z, then. Seriously, the first time I read it, I'd find myself thinking about it as if it actually happened. It was amazing. The movie only looks at maybe 5% of the book. And even gets that wrong. If you like the movie, you'll love the book.
Response: Well, I'm sorry you got me two months in a row! ^laugh^ And I always enjoy snail mail in my mailbox. :)
Response: I did finish it. And was able to do a glorious 6 page spread in my journal listing all the prompts and books I read. And now I'm on to the next challenge!
Response: I couldn't believe this 'tradition" was so new! I thought for sure it was before my lifetime. Nope!
Response: I haven't tried Promised Land, but this is definitely more of a personal story. More biographical. I'm enjoying it, though I need it to move faster because I'm on a deadline!
Response: I emailed you a few pics. :)
Response: Iโve read them all, but I really only need The Giver. I donโt feel like the other three were necessary. If you write 3 more books, the universe should expand, and I didnโt feel that. I liked them all, donโt get me wrong. I just feel like the Giver is much stronger as a stand alone. Admittedly, it has been a long while since Iโve read the other 3, though. Perhaps they deserve to be revisited.
Response: I randomly picked up Erotic Stories at a book sale, just out of the blue. And I was delighted! It had a little bit of everything. It was just a fun read. You'll probably love it. :)
Response: Awwww, glad you were rooting for me. I hope May goes better. It could just be a slump, ya know? Where I read a lot of good books, but they just don't penetrate the slump? Would be nice to bust outta this funk, though.
Response: For some reason the science teacher at a school I was teaching at had a whole slew of them and was never going to use them, so I took them off his hands. *laugh*
Response: I am sooooo hapy you are finding a use for the front of the notecard. When I send those, I purposely don't write on the picture side so they can be repurposed by the recipient because they are just so beautiful!
Response: I would love to be pescatarian, but I truly hate the taste of fish. I have tried to get over it because I'm an adult and shouldn't be like, "Ew, fish." But it is just too gross. So I am mostly vegetarian, but still eat meat on occasion (like when my hubby or mil cook).
Response: Oooh, your reason was good. Honestly? Aortic Aneurysm was literally the first thing that came to mind. ^laugh^ How terrible is that! The book is really good. I'm not positive I'll continue the series, but that's just mostly because I'm kinda over every YA book having to be a series.
Response: Yay! Another John supporter! :) Every time there are previous stars/champions, I always hope to see him. I even tried to send him a fan email about it, but never heard back.

Response: I put your letter in my journal. :)
Response: There was a second date. It was underwhelming. He's a nice guy, but just no spark. Back to the sea to catch another fish. ;)
Response: Loved your thoughts here. :)
Response: I have a TON of those oversized notecards, so if you ever wanted to do a private swap, I'd be happy to do so. All sorts of different designs too.

Response: MDSolo rated me TWICE before this thanking me for the swap and saying she received and has now rated me a 1 saying she hasn't received. I didn't receive a PM from MDsolo until today saying she hadn't received. I am working to determine what happened in order to make this right.

Response: Awww, that's too bad. I beleive the postcard says they are just wildflowers. :) Maybe there will be enough to plant in the Spring! :)
