Response: Let me know if you need any help translating!
Response: Thank you! It was fun. I’m glad it arrived well. I was a bit worried about the weather and watercolors.
Response: Cool, I’m happy I was able to find one that’s new for your collection.
Response: The potato and apple? No family recipe since my mom didn’t like the combo much. I haven’t had it often, but enjoyed it when I did.

Response: I’m happy to see the rating.
Response: Glad you like it! I had a lot of fun with the stickers. Happy new year!
Response: I thought it was neat that that there are Christmas decorations in the street. Happynew year!

I enjoyed it very much. Merry Christmas!
Response: I’m well. Hope you’re, too!
Response: I would probably be too scared to climb up, too.
Response: I bought the notecard several years ago in Australia. When I read your profile, I was sure you’d like it. I’m happy I was right.
Response: Luna Lovegood is a great character, too. The PC is from a postcard book. I believe I bought it at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.
Response: Oh, I had figured telling you about my favorite birds is also saying something about me.
Response: Wow, that took a long time. I’m glad it finally made it and you like it.
Response: If it’s the washi with the silver fruit, that’s a from a washi sample I got from another swapper.

Response: Yes, Aldi Finds are great.

Response: Especially if they can be donated to help/be treasured by somebody else.
Response: I’m glad you liked the verses! Thanks for the feedback about the glue!
Response: Thanks for the reminder that the format is not standard! I hope you enjoyed the YouTube video.
Response: My dad and I are having a lot of fun, thanks :)
Response: I’m glad you are enjoying the package, it seems like most if not all items made it to you. Thanks for also notifying me about the open package due to weak tape so I can prevent mishaps like this in the future.
Response: Yes, ALDI has these for the Christmas season.
Response: Haha, sprummer, I'll have to remember that!
Response: The card is from a postcard book called Uptight All Night. I bought it quite a while ago. Every once in a while there's a good opportunity to send one, like this swap. Sometimes people even wish for cards like these. Some cards are scarier than this one.
Response: Yes, that would be me. I remember choosing the purple flowers for you.
Response: I'm not a good cook, either, but chicken soup is easy. You don't have to be exact with amounts or even cooking time and you don't have to be careful with exchanges. Don't start with cake, baking cake is tricky :) "Throw these ingredients in a pot and let them cook for a while" style recipes are the easiest to start with.
Response: Thank you for catching up on ratings! It was great to do two in one!
Response: I keep earreading. Love doing it. Some books are just easier and more fun to read that way.
Response: I'm glad that you like it so much :)
Response: I have varied sources for my book selections, these days there is the local book club, the Amnesty International online book club, my limited selection of audio books on cassette and CD, of course books from my own bookshelf many of which I had wished for, and more.
Response: I enjoyed taking my time finding a good excerpt that represents the book well.
Response: Thanks! It was my first one. I had a lot of fun choosing the right colors.
Response: Definitely challenging! Happy Thanksgiving for you, too!
Response: It took me a while to rate you, too, no worries! And you have a good point about the books.
Response: We just had a little BC meeting, but it was very cool, because it was the first time meeting BCers from the area. We want to meet again. I miss the BCinDC meetings, too!
Response: I'm so glad the resend arrived!
Response: The Sheep of Lal Bagh was one of the books on sale at my local library branch, they sell books for 10c that they either are removing from their collection or that have been donated, but they don't want to add to the collection. I was looking for some children's books as a birthday present. So that's how I came across it. It looked interesting, so I read it be for sending it off and I'm glad I did :)
Response: Yours was the first to arrive here as well. Happy 🎂 birthday!
Response: Same here. Exercise AND chocolate!
Response: Thanks for your rating and comments :)
Response: Dewey was a wonderful book. I really enjoyed it.
Response: Someone from my church made the bookmark. We have a ministry called Crafts for a Cause. All the proceeds from selling the crafts benefit women in Cambodia.
Response: This is actually an adult class. The extra fun thing about the Christmas party is that many people who were part of the class in the past and friends who we only get to see once or twice a year come. I hope you and your church have a blessed Christmas also!
Response: No problem and thanks for the rating.
Response: I'm happy you like everything so much :)
Response: That postcard is actually from a postcardbook where each card shows something with a hole that you could look through. They're all pretty interesting. Unusual theme for sure.
Response: Oh, did I use the "Mentoring" stamp? I didn't even realize it matches the address until I read your comment here and thought about what you meant! Cool!
Response: Vielleicht treffen wir uns dieses Jahr ja nochmal.
Response: Das ist ja toll, ich war da noch nicht, aber es sieht schoen aus.
Response: You're welcome. I especially had a great time with my dad on my most recent trip to Germany, visiting his childhood neighborhood etc.
Response: I read your comment in the swap thread, that helped :) I had some comments before, but added some of the book descriptions. Glad you enjoyed it.
Response: Found you and I'm following you. I'm swan44 there.
Response: Yes, I'm considering putting it again on the next list. The walls are just off-white - it's a rented apartment. But at least they're not all weird in different shades anymore.
Response: No problem, glad to get your rating now :D
Response: Awesome! I'm glad you like it and sure she'll like it as well.
Response: Thanks and no worries, it was only a couple of days after I sent the email! I did the same thing, rating after a couple of days when I had the time to really read the email.
Response: Um, thanks for rating before I even sent anything ;) Edit: Thanks! And blankets can take a long time, they're big!
Response: That's awesome, the ornament is bringing a lot more joy (and prayer) than I ever expected! I love the store as well (I have visited three different ones so far, mostly the one here in my city, of course).
Response: I'm so happy that you like it.
Response: I'm looking forward to seeing you!
Response: I'm doing well thanks. As you can see from the ratings, I haven't had time to swap, either (even though I have been online most of the time).
Response: I'm glad you took my comment the right way. I was worried a bit after I'd sent already. I've really gotten into the crafts for a cause. It's like a 3-way win: I have fun doing it, the person getting the item enjoys that, and third the recipients of the proceeds get the benefit of that.
Response: Life is going great, thanks! I'm glad I chose the right card :)
Response: I'm glad I made the right choice, then :)
Response: I'm doing great, thanks!
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed reading them.
Response: I don't know much about those comic strips yet. I just got a book with Opus comic strips from the library to see what they're like...
Response: I miss you, too.
Response: We named our first ones Max and Moritz (German children's book characters). Then we got more and gave up naming each one.
Response: Good to see you, too. Knowing 2 out of 3 partners IRL in this swap is a real treat!
Response: Thanks! It was a great idea for a swap.
Response: I can't get them in my area, either. One bookstore used to sell a few, but they don't anymore. I get mine online.
Response: I'm glad to see that it arrived, it took longer than usual . Also glad that you like it.
Response: I ended up using double sided tape for that layer. Thanks for the rating!
Response: I'm an avid library patron, too. And a bookcrosser!
Response: I'm going back to California in the middle of April. Of course I'll stay on swap-bot!
Response: It's funny that you would say that. I have the opposite experience, the drivers here are much crazier. But I have to admit there often is a lot of traffic in CA, sometimes also at surprising times outside of rush hour. I'm glad you're enjoying the card.
Response: I've been on swap-bot for quite a while. I didn't make it to the discussion, but there maybe morning discussion of the book in early January. I hope I can make it then.
Response: I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the rating and the heart.
Response: I got the stationery in a swap :)
Response: You're welcome. I read The Purpose Driven Life with my church a few years ago as well. The other book I read just a couple of months ago and found it a great read and very helpful.
Response: Hallo to you as well, fellow postcrosser :) My husband's job brings me to the East coast, but we'll move back to CA eventually.
Response: I'm happy you took the time to read it before rating, I don't mind that it took you a little longer.
Response: Thanks, I'm glad my comments helped you. You'll improve over time as well the more you learn.
Response: I didn't have a dress for my wedding, either :)
Response: I figured since you like Obama for an ATC theme, you'd appreciate an Obama postcard as well, so I included that special one for you :)
Response: I'm glad I was able to pick the right color for you.
Response: I'm swan4 on Flickr. I didn't make any updates for a while, but have just started again.
Response: I don't work with them. They have a nice little shop in our local mall, though, and a weaving studio, too. I'm planning to go to their open house in the fall.
Response: I'm so glad. The first time I went to the thrift store, I didn't find anything. So I went again a few days later and was able to find these three items :)
Response: Yes, it's great how those things work out sometimes. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Cool, I'm glad I found a book for you that you're interested in.
Response: I love Ten Thousand Villages as well. I'm glad I was able to find something you love.
Response: You are right, I left one question out, I think, but fit all the other answers on there. I planned ahead by using a larger card etc.
Response: Wow, I'm glad the card made it to you after its detour!
Response: I haven't been to the flea market at the Rose Bowl yet. But I know about it and it's on my to do list. I'm happy you like the card, we don't have many choices for Pasadena cards.
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed this crazy cute Christmas card!
Response: I'm not sure what language it was. I think it might have been Dutch? Or something Eastern European...
Response: It was fun to select them as well. I'm glad you like the items. Merry Christmas!
Response: I know I didn't need to send so many, but I wanted to; I just couldn't resist. I'm glad you love them. Merry Christmas to you, too!
Response: I'm glad you like it.
Response: I was going to send a different book at first, but I misplaced it and only found it again after I had gotten your package ready. I realized I had a second copy of the book I sent to you and decided it was more interesting than my original choice anyway. I'm really happy that my choice turned out to be so perfectly timed for you.
Response: I'm glad you like my letter. I have too many books to be read on my list as well. On bookcrossing we call it "Mount TBR" :)
Response: It is a salamander (amphibian), not a lizard (reptile). I'm glad you like it. :)
Response: Thanks. It was so much fun to think about this that I started planning right after I signed up.
Response: I'm happy it was such a success. I love fulfilling wishes from profiles.
Response: I think I sent you one of the pre-paid postcards? They are available on the US Postoffice web site usps.com in books of 20.
Response: You guessed correctly. I'm glad you like the card.
Response: I'm glad you like it. It was the first gluebook I ever made.
Response: I left positive feedback for the seller on etsy. I'm glad you like the item I chose for you.
Response: I'm so happy that I - not being a coffee person myself - was able to choose a great coffee for you.
Response: I'm even more glad now that I found a way to ship the box without the postage being ridiculously high - it just barely fit into that envelope. I had a lot of fun finding items for you and I'm happy you like them.
Response: I'm glad you like my selection of books. It would be best if you journal the books immediately with just a note how you got them. Then you can do another journal entry later after reading if you want.
